So when we got up this morning I said, we have to get out of the house. So we ventured out to the mall, I had taken pants to get shortened(love being short...petit size is even to long) and had to get groceries. THen DH surprised me with a Chapters gift card, he had gotten from his airmiles or something so we hit them up to. I got the second book in the Twilight series, first one wasn't bad, not as amazing as I thought it would be. NOt juicy enough I guess :P
Came home had lunch then we all went down for a nap, 2 hours, it was awesome. I think DH thought a "nap" was code for something else but I wanted sleep. Normally at nap time is when I do the shred dvd and do some housework. NOt today.
I just want it to be spring time, maybe in the spring we all won't feel so crappy.
Food wise wasn't horrible besides my earlier post on KFC. We had meatballs, steamed brocoli, rice. Today it was kind of a hit and miss, didn't feel much like eating, had an omlet for breakie and then lunch was a few kashi crackers and a banana. Supper still haven't decided yet and it is almost 9. Probably toast, just because it hurts to swallow now.
Well enough of my complaining, time for me to get off my ass and do something.

I broke today, I had the worst thing you can ever eat in general. KFC. I feel so guilty, I just couldn't resist. I am an emotional eater, and this has been a rough week, 2 sick kids, still not feeling excellent myself and DH was in TO. I was up at 5am each morning on the road to drop the kids off by 6:30. Each night this week the girls were rough, they were crying all the time because they just didn't feel good. I am exhausted. DH came home from TO tonight and on the way home from the airport he brought home the dreadful KFC. It wasn't even that good. I am feeling so bad about it. I have learnt my lesson.....no more crap. I bet the scale will reflect bad for me on Monday.

Ok first the good news, I am feeling 100% better. I had to even make a trip to the emerge because I had been sick for so long and not keep anything down, a bit dehydrated wasn't a fun weekend. But it did result in a great weigh in...that is part of the bad part. I know it wasn' t a great wi because I put lots of effort into it. Even though the week leading up to Thurs I had been doing great. But the illness took over in my weight loss journey. Want to know what I lost?
Crazy. Now the trick is to keep it off. Meals are planned for the week and some exercise planned as well. So it better not creep back up on me.
This is short and sweet, DH is heading to TO tomorrow so I have to have lots of stuff done since I will be on my own for the rest of the week. Back packs to pack, lunches to make...it never ends, and my kids don't even go to school yet.

Well first off I survived my mother in law, she wasn't horrible at all this time, it was almost like she was afraid to do anything in our house. She didn't even put her dishes in the dishwasher because she said she wasn't sure how we loaded it. So we were able to keep to our planned food for the week EXCEPT, MCD'S on Thurs night. SIL brought over a Big Mac for me for the rest of the family. I ate it but you know what it really wasn't that good. But I got pay back.
Thurs night just after supper I started to feel horrible the belly was turning, I was FROZEN, couldn't get warm. I went to bed when the kids did. I went to bed with a quilt, heavy blanket and 2 crochet blankets, still not warm, ached all over. Then got up Friday went to work, still had the belly rumbling but felt a bit better...made it to noon. Had to go home. If not I was going to throw up all over my desk, good thing I came home when I did. I have lived with my head in the garbage can every hour or so since yesterday at noon.
I was suppose to head to Saint John today for a meeting but I had to cancel. Felt bad. Got up a little while ago thinking I haven' t been sick in a few hours. Sure enough not even 5 mins later it was back. So I am assuming my WI on Monday should be amazing but not for a good reason.
Well back to bed, again. My poor husband has been trying to finish our basement and with me being sick has slowed down the process. God love him.

MIL hasn't cooked since she has been here yet...NICE. But we did have chinesse food last night, not so good. But I managed to control myself. And tonight my BIL who is a chef cooked supper for the family, and same thing, had a nice salad and a piece of bbq'd chicken. Controlled myself again.

The bad news is she is staying with us...and she will be cooking. So I won't have control at all. She is the type that takes over the kitchen when she comes. I think Angie had the same sort of deal awhile back. But we will see how it goes. I am going to plan our meals for the week like always and see if she follows them . Should be interesting.
Off to do some running around with the little ladies. Time for new slips (aka slippers) for my oldest, and she has informed me she needs a housecoat too....and she is only 2. You would think she was 90.

Breakfast: same as yesterday, kashi granola in liberte mocha fat free yogurt
Lunch Veggi soup and 10 Kashi cracker ranch ones I think they were
Snack 100cal pack of craisins
Supper: DH made supper in a hurry tonight not the greatest but not bad, homeade chicken fingers with dry bread crumbs, egg wash and parmesan cheese. With Stove top of all things. I think it is funny when he has to cook.
He will be cooking most nights for the next month until both girls are going to the same daycare. Right now our oldest goes to daycare here in Riverview, but our youngest can't go until she is 14 months. So I drive her to my parents in Magnetic Hill. I work 2 mins from our house in Riverview. So it is a bit of a drive each morning and after work. So he is home first and has to cook. But tonight I forgot to leave him the recipe http://www.kraftcanada.com/en/recipes/broccoli-cheddar-chicken-bundles-98017.aspx which looked really good but oh well maybe next time.

Well today I ventured in to work for the first time in almost 14 months. Totally didn't recognize anyone there anymore, so many changes, the building is totally renovated...a new beginning everywhere I guess.
Anyway, food wise was great today:
Breakfast: Yogurt Liberte fat free mocha, w/ kashi granola
Snack 1/2 larabar
Lunch :Rice and Beans
Snack: fresh green beans and carrots
Supper: slow cooker prime rib, potatoes, carrots
Snack :) 18 pretzel twist and a pepsi
Not horrible at all, didn't do any activity I am worn out after my first day back. Tomorrow though. They are calling for a nasty storm here tonight, so maybe no work tomorrow :) that would be funny, second day back and the office is closed. Not complaining though.

Using the WII fit as my new scale which is great. It tracks everything my BMI and everything, it is great. But what is showed me tonight wasn't

But food was great today.
Breakfast: Banana and a whole wheat english muffin with a smidge of homeade strawberry jam made with splenda
Snack: Coffee w/ pinch of sugar and milk, Coconut Cocoa larabar
Lunch: 1 slice of pizza hut pizza, HUGE garden salad w/ a few croutons and bacon bits, no dressing and a little bite of DH's slice of dessert pizza
Supper: Big bowl of Veggie Soup it was great. Added potatoes and some other veggies.
Did 35 mins on the wii fit...LOVING IT!!

So tomorrow is back on the band wagon. Off to get groceries, load up on the veggies and good stuff. Going back to work on Weds after being off for 14 months on mat leave. Love having a routine again but going to miss my babies :( .
I will post a new before pic of myself just as soon as I find my reader for memory card for my laptop....daughter was playing with it and now I can't find it. And of course DH packed away the cord to the camera. Soon I promise.
